SRINAGAR: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is set to conduct its Term End Examination (TEE) for June 2024, starting from June 7th (Friday). The university conducts the TEE twice a year, in June and December, for its various academic programs.
The IGNOU Regional Centre Srinagar has established 35 examination centers across the Kashmir valley and the Union Territory of Ladakh, where approximately 35,488 students will appear for their examinations. To cater to the needs of students appearing in the examination, the regional centre has set up additional centers in Uri, Sogam, Qazigund, Dooru, Thindim Kreeri, Langate, Handwara, Gurez, and one in Central Jail for jail inmates.
Hall tickets have already been issued to eligible students who have applied for the TEE June 2024 and are available on https://hall_ticket.ignou.ac.in/hall0624/ignouhallticketjun2024.aspx.
To appear in the examination, students must possess their hall ticket and valid identity card issued by the university. Mobile phones and any other electronic gadgets are not permitted inside the examination halls.

Regional Director Dr. A.H. Rizvi expressed gratitude towards the local administration for their cooperation in deploying security personnel at the examination centers and postal authorities for accepting sealed parcels beyond working hours. He also expressed hope for a smooth and fair conduction of the Term-End Examination June 2024 across the Kashmir Division and UT of Ladakh.
It is worth noting that due to the UGC-NET examination scheduled on June 18th (earlier scheduled on June 16th), IGNOU has rescheduled the entire set of examinations to be held on June 18th to June 23rd (Sunday). Examination superintendents have been directed to conduct the examination on June 23rd (Sunday), which was earlier scheduled for June 18th. As a result, there will be no Term End Examination on June 18th at any examination center across the country or abroad. Necessary changes are being made to the hall tickets of concerned learners, and examinees are informed to download their revised hall ticket from ignou.ac.in.
