Srinagar: Security forces in a joint operation arrested a militant association along with arms and ammunition in Jammu and Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Sunday.
Police said in a joint operation, Jammu and Kashmir Police, Army and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) arrested a terrorist associate during a search operation in Bandipora.
Some arms and ammunition including Pistols, Pistol magazines and rounds were recovered from his possession.
A case under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police station Pethkote.
“In a joint operation, Indian Army, Bandipora Police and CRPF ,arrested one terrorist associate along with arms & ammunition. Case registered under relevant section of law in PS Pethkote”, Police said on X.
