GANDERBAL: Sindh Forest Range Kangan on Thursday organised a plantation drive at different polling stations which is a designated green polling station in Block Gund in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
Officials from Forest Department Ganderbal, teachers and students participated in the drive.
Officials said that plantation drives at green polling stations aim to promote eco-friendly practices among voters and polling officials. Features of eco-friendly polling stations were highlighted on the occasion, ensuring a green and sustainable environment for upcoming polling.
On the occasion, various plants were distributed and planted in different schools. The importance of plantation and green environment was highlighted by the officials and the participants were urged to actively participate in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.
