CRPF organises free medical camp in Sonawari

BANDIPORA: Under its civic action program, a free medical camp was organized by the 45 Battalion Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) at Asham village of HajinTehsil in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Saturday.
The camp was inaugurated by PRI Nisar Ahmad in the presence of Apoorwa, commandant of 45bn CRPF.
He was accompanied by Rajiv Ranjan Adjudant, other officers and local eminent personalities were present during the camp.
Commanding Officer 45 BN CRPF, Apoorwa, said that 45 Bn CRPF assured the local public that CRPF has always been helping the Kashmiri people and putting all-out efforts for peace, prosperity and development of the society. He added that they will continue to conduct such a civic programme for the benefit of the local public in future.
“Our aim to organise this free medical camp is to reach out to the general public. We are providing treatment for common diseases, seasonal illnesses, and also if there is a need to involve experts and we are providing that,” he added.
Mohammad Sultan, a local of Asham, after getting a check-up said that he is very thankful for this camp. “The medicines are quite expensive outside. We have to spend Rs 1000-2000 on them in the market. The doctors are also very good. People are getting check-ups done quite smoothly,” he said.
A large number of people gathered at the health camp organised by 45 battalion CRPF.
