PAMPORE: A man from Pulwama died and four others were injured in a collision between two vehicles near Pampore area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday evening.
Police officials Confirmed to Kashmir Reader that one person died and four others were injured in the road accident.
The accident happened between Tavera vehicle registration number JK01AQ- 3637 and an I10 sports vehicle bearing registration number JK13H-8568, resulted in injuries to five persons identified as Mudasir Ahmad Katari of Kokernag, Reyaz Ahmad Dar Pahoo Pulwama, Ishfaq Ahmad Mir Babgam Pulwama, Naseema Akhter Payer Pulwama, and Shabir Ahmad Chopan Kokernag Dandipora.
All the injured persons were immediately shifted to PHC Kakapora, where from two injured persons referred to SMHS Srinagar for advanced medical treatment, doctors told Kashmir Reader.
However, one injured person Ishfaq Ahmad from Pulwama succumbed to his injuries.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at Police Station Pampore.
