Jammu: A policeman was found dead under mysterious circumstances and preliminary investigations suggest he died by suicide, officials said.
They said that the constable (SgCt) Iqbal Hussain was posted at police station Nowabad and the incident happened there.
“Prima facie it appears that he used his service weapon to shoot himself,” they told GNS. FSL team and crime photographer visited the spot even as inquest proceedings have been initiated, they added. (GNS)
