On the 25th of November 2023, the Yatra that had commenced its journey in the District, inspired by the vision of the Hon’ble Prime Minister reached unprecedented milestones.
In its relentless pursuit, the Yatra has ensured maximum coverage, touching every corner of the district while maintaining the utmost respect for local traditions. The commitment to reach the unreached echoed through the Yatra’s successful traverse of Municipalities, Panchayats, and now the villages of the district.

Remarkably, 100% eligible Households numbering to 111416 of District Pulwama have been enrolled under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Aarogya Yojana, one of the two components of Ayushman Bharat scheme. The implementation of this scheme, facilitated through the golden card, ensures comprehensive health benefits for all.

It is a nationwide campaign to raise awareness through outreach activities to achieve saturation of schemes of Govt. of India across the country covering all Gram Panchayats, Nagar Panchayats and Urban Local Bodies.
The campaign is being taken up by adopting a whole of government approach with active involvement of various Ministries/Departments of Government of India, State governments, Central government organizations and institutions.
