Ehtisham Khan criticizes JU’s handling of exam result delays

Srinagar: Er. Ehtisham Khan, Senior Vice President of THE PURPOSE (NGO), a dedicated advocate for student welfare and education, has expressed profound concern and condemned the consistently “unprofessional and indifferent approach” of the University of Jammu in handling delays in examination results, thereby neglecting the welfare and future prospects of its students.
“It is disheartening to observe a recurring pattern where the timely release of exam results, crucial for students’ academic progress and future endeavors, has become an afterthought for the University of Jammu. The persistent delays not only induce unnecessary stress and anxiety among students but also jeopardize their plans for further studies, hindering their educational journey,” Er. Ehtisham said, adding that THE PURPOSE is committed to upholding the standards of accountability and professionalism in the education sector.
In his capacity as the Senior Vice President of THE PURPOSE, Ehtisham Khan has called upon the concerned university authorities to urgently address this matter and implement effective measures to streamline the result declaration process. “Students deserve an education system that values their time, efforts, and aspirations. The current disregard for punctuality in releasing exam results is deemed unacceptable and undermines the institution’s commitment to providing quality education,” he said.
THE PURPOSE has urged the university to prioritize the well-being of its students, demonstrating a commitment to professionalism and accountability. The organization said it believes that prompt and transparent communication regarding the reasons for delays, coupled with proactive steps to prevent future delays, is essential for fostering a positive learning environment.
In light of these concerns, Ehtisham Khan has urged the J&K Lieutenant Governor to personally intervene and address this pressing issue. He said the impact of delayed exam results on the lives and future prospects of students cannot be understated.
“The Lieutenant Governor’s intervention is crucial in ensuring that the university adheres to its responsibility of providing a conducive and timely academic environment for its students,” Er Ehtisham said.
