Srinagar: President of Anjuman Auqaf Jama Masjid Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq has paid heartfelt and glowing tribute to the first Caliph of Muslims Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique (RA), the successor of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW), on the occasion of his passing away anniversary.
Mirwaiz in a statement said that Hazrat Siddique-e-Akbar was the best person in the Ummah and the first companion of the Prophet (SAW) who set an example by fully dedicating his life for Islam, its movement, and to the service of Prophet Muhammad (SAW). Such an example cannot be found in the history of humanity, he said.
Mirwaiz said the life and teachings of Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique (RA) serve as a beacon for all eras and we should resolve to follow in his footsteps to overcome the challenges we presently face.
