SKUAST-K signs MoU with Lemon Ideas

Srinagar: Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir Saturday signed a memorandum of understanding with the Lemon Ideas Innovation Pvt Ltd (Lemon Ideas), Nagpur.
Lemon Ideas is a brand in handholding new entrepreneurial ventures and innovation-based startups.
The MoU was signed by the Director, Research and Planning and Monitoring, Prof Haroon Rashid Naik and Director, LSE Nagpur, Deepak Menaria, in presence of Vice Chancellor, SKUAST-K, Prof Nazir Ahmad Ganai, Dean Faculty of Horticulture, OSD to Vice Chancellor, Heads of various Divisions and Chief Executive Officer of SKUAST-K Incubation Centre.
Vice Chancellor in his remarks said the important aspect of the MoU is to create links for building an ecosystem of innovations to bridge the gap in startup arena from national to local and to connect national mentors with the local innovational community. He appreciated the move of SKUAST-K Innovation, Incubation & Entrepreneurship Centre and LSE to work jointly to foster a startup ecosystem in Jammu and Kashmir.
Deepak Menaria in his remarks appreciated the ecosystem developed by SKUAST-K. He said LSE plans to collaborate with SKUAST-K with other universities of the country so that the resources & information can be shared together to achieve the desired goals.
On the occasion, CEO, SKIIE Centre, Naveed Hamid was announced as the nodal officer of the LSE programs in J&K and Ladakh.
