Bandipora: The 24th District Bandipora SQAY Championship, organized by the District SQAY Association Bandipora, concluded successfully at the International Delhi Public School Bandipora on Wednesday.
The championship, held on December 11 and 12, 2023, witnessed the participation of 150 boys and girls from different areas of the district, making it a significant event under the close supervision of the J&K SQAY Association.
Fayaz Ahmad Fayaz presided as the chief guest, and Jamshedah Yousuf, accompanied by Mr. Sahil Bashir, was the guest of honor on the occasion. President SQAY Association Bandipora, Muzafar Mushtaq, addressed the gathering, advising participants to stay connected with sports, engage in games, and steer clear of drugs, negative influences, and anti-national activities.
Mushtaq assured that participants who excelled in the championship would be provided a platform to represent their district at state and national-level events. He emphasized the association’s commitment to discovering talents and elevating the status of the game among the youth.
Mushtaq expressed gratitude to the guests, spectators, and participants for their enthusiasm and active participation, contributing to the overall success of the event.
