Apni Party’s women wing enhances public outreach, holds public convention at Lethpora

Srinagar: Continuing its ongoing public outreach campaign, the Apni Party’s women wing held a convention at Lethpora Pompore in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district today. The event saw active participation from female party workers as well as women from the area.
According to a press note issued here, the event was part of the party’s ongoing public outreach campaign, aimed at expanding its grassroots base and gaining support from women.
Speaking on the occasion, the provincial president of the party’s women wing, Dilshada Shaheen, said, “Apni Party is exceptional in terms of having a clear-cut vision for the wellbeing and empowerment of J&K women. We fully understand the importance of the economic and political role of women in society; thus, we have an ambiguous plan to ensure our women are empowered. Once the Apni Party gets a public mandate to form a government in Jammu and Kashmir, we will leave no stone unturned to implement our vision.”
She urged party workers to stay connected with the people, saying, “It is the duty of our leaders and workers to maintain contact with the masses at the grassroots level, creating awareness about the party’s people-friendly policies and agenda. Therefore, I urge you to intensify your political activities and public outreach in your respective areas.”
Besides Dilshada Shaheen, the prominent party leaders who were present on the occasion included the party’s state secretary and spokesperson, Muntazir Mohiuddin, District President Pulwama Ghulam Mohammad Mir, Provincial Secretary Women’s Wing Afroza Ji, District Youth President Tajalalah Andrabi, DDC Awantipora Meema ji and DDC Mansha ji, and others.
