JK Khidmat Centre Association continues protest on 16th day

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Khidmat Centre Association continued its protest in Srinagar and Jammu. They also protested outside J&K BJP office at Srinagar and sought intervention of the leadership in address their demands.
The slogans of “We want justice, save youth save nation,” rented the air as hundreds of e-governance facilitating Khidmat Centres Association (KCA) members continued their protest demonstration in Srinagar and Jammu demanding addressing their already promised demands.
The protest entered its 16th day on Wednesday, and the protestors have resolved to launch much-intensified protest if their demands are not met.
Speaking to media persons, one of the JK Bank Khidmat Centre professionals alleged that they were called by the J&K Bank authorities where they behaved rudely with them. “The bank authorities were behaving as if J&K Bank is their personal property,” he said.
The protesters said they have given 14 important years of their life in implementing Digital India programme in Jammu and Kashmir besides providing extended services to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. “It is because of day in and day out efforts of these centres that around 40 lakh Jan Dhan accounts were opened in Jammu and Kashmir,” they said, adding that these centres ensured services to the people in during the difficult times like pandemic.
“In return we are demanding for securing our future,” they said.
