Pampore: The Department of Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) Pulwama organised awareness, public redressal camp at Wahab Sahab Shar Shali area of Pampore in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday.
The camp was presided over by the Assistant Director FCS&CA Department Pulwama Mushtaq Ahmad Wani who listened to the issues and grievances of people of the far-flung area of Wahab Sahab.
The camp was attended by officers of Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, and the people from Wahab Sahab and Shar Shali areas were present at the camp. Computer operators of the department were also present who did the ration card modification viz member addition/deletion and change of address on-spot, officials told Kashmir Reader.
Speaking on the occasion, the Director highlighted the positive impact of online services and the achievements of the department.
Assistant Director FCS&CA Pulwama Mushtaq Ahmad Wani said, “Today, we organized an awareness, public redressal camp in the Wahab Sahab area. We listened to the grievances of those who had issues, and we promptly addressed many of them on the spot. Our doors are always open, and we will continue to address any grievances that may arise in the future.”
He added that in today’s redressal camp, they had computer assistance available and performed various tasks. “If anyone has any problems, we will resolve them on the spot. If someone needed directions to a specific location, we provided them immediately,” he said.
Wani added, “We informed people that today’s era is dominated by online systems. If anyone needs to check their ration card or has any grievance, they should use the online system or get in touch with us, and we will ensure a resolution.”
