Baramulla RR, Himalyan Brigade, Dagger Division organise medical camp

Baramulla: Baramulla RR Bn organised a medical camp for the village Fatehgarh on Sunday to promote critical factors of health checkups and disease-free life of people in the backward areas.
This mega event was conducted under the aegis of the Himalayan Brigade and assisted in civil-military crafting for progressive Kashmir.
Orthopedic Surgeon, Opthalmologist, Family Physician, General Physician, Medicine and female gynaecologist experts of Borderless World Foundation provided the collective potential to locals at the event.
Dual commitment achieved during the medical camp was to alleviate medical issues in locals and instill a sense of trust and belongingness with the Army.
To reach the event’s goal, the information and invitation for the medical camp were started well in advance through Masjids, Darul-Ulooms, schools in 17 villages in the radius and on social media.
The staff and students of the school assisted medical experts as interpreters wherever required. Discipline committee on the occasion showcased qualities of servant leadership.
The efforts of the Baramulla Battalion enabled medical assistance to a large segment of 630 persons from the deprived section of the general public in district Baramulla.
The strength included 272 male patients, 235 female patients and 123 children patients. First-aid kits to Higher Senior Secondary School, Fatehgarh were also provided at the culmination of camp as a token of affinity. Students’ efforts were appreciated by rewards by senior officers of the Indian Army.
The continuation of medical check-ups, medical assistance and expert advice by qualified teams was being cherished by locals.
The endeavour of facilitating and extending help to citizens showcased the empathy of the Indian Army to strengthen the Awaam Army Connect.
