Awantipora: As a part of Civic Action Programme, Police in Awantipora distributed school kits, shoes among the needy students at Government Upper Primary School Lanzgund Tral, Government Boys Primary School Branpathri Tral, and Government Upper Primary School Nagabal Tral. It also distributed sports kits at District Police Lines Awantipora.
On the occasion, SSP Awantipora Ajaz Ahmed Zargar-JKPS along with SP DAR Hilal Khaliq Bhat-JKPS and SDPO Tral were present.
While interacting with the students, SSP Awantipora assured them of all possible support and advised the students to concentrate in their studies and also take part in extracurricular activities. He also stated that students should make optimum use of time and channelize their energy in the right direction. He also urged the students to remain away from the drug menace and concentrate on your studies.
Moreover, under the Civic Action Programme of J&K Police, SSP Awantipora along with SP DAR distributed Sports kits among leading teams of Sub Division Tral, Pampore and Awantipora at DPL Awantipora.
The general public hailed the efforts of police for helping such needy students. At the end of the event, community members expressed their gratitude for the support provided by the department.
