Pulwama: The 77th Independence Day was today celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor at the Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute’s (JKEDI) Sempora, Pampore campus.
The celebrations commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by Director, JKEDI, Ajaz Ahmad Bhat followed by the soul-stirring rendition of the National Anthem.
The festivities took on an even more poignant tone with the inclusion of a ceremonial salute, executed by the brave members of B Coy from the 41st Battalion of the Border Security Force (BSF), under the leadership of Giriraj Singh Rana, Assistant Commandant.
In his address, the Director of JKEDI highlighted the significance of coming together to celebrate the nation’s hard-earned freedom. He used the occasion to call for a renewed commitment to building a prosperous and harmonious country.
He emphasized that the celebration of Independence Day should serve as a reminder of the sacrifices made by countless individuals during the freedom struggle and the responsibility that each citizen carries in ensuring the nation’s progress. He stressed the fact that the Institute will work towards creating opportunities in the field of entrepreneurship, enabling the youth to take advantage of them and advance their careers.
The institute’s premises were adorned with vibrant floral arrangements and fluttering national flags, resonating the spirit of patriotism and national pride. The celebration witnessed the presence of esteemed faculty members and officials from the Institute, all of whom shared in the collective joy and honor of the occasion.
The fervor of Independence Day resonated throughout the various district offices of JKEDI, as each district headquarters wholeheartedly participated in the celebrations.
Director Agriculture Kashmir, Chowdhury Mohammad Iqbal unfurled the National Flag in the lawns of Agriculture Directorate Lalmandi Srinagar, in presence of gathering of Directorate staff to celebrate the 77th Independence Day.
Director Agriculture was the chief guest on the occasion. The attendees included all divisional and sectoral officers of the department and their staff.
Director Agriculture Kashmir while addressing the staff members congratulated them on the occasion of Independence Day. He praised the directorate staff for their enthusiastic participation in the function. He also highlighted some of the remarkable achievements by the department in the last year.
Meanwhile, the Independence Day was also celebrated in the premises of agriculture departmental complexes across all the districts of Kashmir division and sub divisional headquarters.
