Hajjn: The 3rd Battalion of CRPF stationed in Bandipora organised a free medical camp on Friday at Ajas Bazipora under its civic action program.
The medical camp was inaugurated by a local senior citizen Ali Mohammad Lone, in the presence of Mahendra Kumar, Commandant 3 Bn CRPF, and the officers of 3 Bn CRPF.
Sarpanch Gulam Nabi Mir of Bazipora Panchayat, Mohd Yusuf Ganie, Sarapanch of Ajas Panchayat and other officers of CRPF and elected DDC and BDC members of Panchayat also witnessed the occasion.
The CAP for medical benefit was assisted by District Hospital Bandipora and Dr Shagufta from PHC Ajas, Dr. Kowseen from HWC S K Payeen, Dr. Shazia from HWC, Bazipora, Dr. Ashraf from HWC Hajin, and Dr. Iftikhar from Ayushmaan from District Hospital Bandipora also participated in extending medical treatment to the local populace.
The program included free medical checkups and the distribution of essential medicines for illness. A large number of people from the villages, benefited from the free medical consultation and treatment.
A total of 405 people were provided medical check-ups during the program. The locals of Ajas Bazipora and adjoining villages who received medical benefits highly appreciated the event organized by 3 Bn CRPF.
