‘Meri Mati Mera Desh’ prog held at Faculty of Fisheries, SKUAST-K Ganderbal

Srinagar: Faculty of Fisheries, SKUAST-Kashmir conducted different activities on the occasion of ‘Meri Mati Mera Desh (MMMD)’ programme at Rangil, Ganderbal. A good number of students from different faculties of SKUAST-K joined the programme where plantation drive, PANCH-PRAN pledge, orientation of YUVA portal and registration of volunteers were conducted.
Dean, Faculty of Fisheries Prof. (Dr) Farooz A. Bhat highlighted the importance of NSS activities for the overall development of a student along with imbibing the concept of societal responsibility. Dean FoFy also appreciated the continuous support received from Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr) Nazir A Ganai and Dean Students Welfare Prof. (Dr) M A A Siddique in conducting these activities at FoFy.
NSS volunteers actively participated in all the activities and ensure that the same will continue in the near future for the benefit of the society in general and institution in particular.
Dr Mudasir M Kirmani, Programme Officer, NSS, FoFy appreciated the efforts of all the NSS volunteers of FoFy. More than 100 students from Faculty of Fisheries participated in the programme. The students appreciated the efforts of Dean FoFy, NSS units of FoFy and student volunteers for conducting the activities on continuous basis at Faculty of Fisheries.
