SRINAGAR: Akhil Bharat Rachnatmak Samaj, a leading nonprofit organization, has appointed Er Ehtisham Khan as its State General Secretary. As the State General Secretary of ABRS J&K, Ehtisham Khan will assume responsibility for overseeing the strategic direction, operational management and overall growth of the organization. Khan hold has an extensive background in the field of social work. He has held key leadership positions in multiple nonprofit organizations demonstrating a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. In their new role, Khan will work closely to develop and implement strategic initiatives, mobilize resources, and strengthen partnerships. ABRS is a global federation of Gandhian institutions and social activities, which was founded by Padma Vibhushan (Late) Dr Nirmala Deshpande who was a noted social activist and embraced Gandhian philosophy. Dr Deshpande was a nominated member of Rajya Sabha twice. ABRS has previously won the National Communal Harmony Award conferred by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.
