Srinagar: Peoples Conference (PC) expelled Syed Basharat Bukhari from the party for indulging in alleged anti-party activities.
Bukhari, who was constituency head Kreei in Baramulla district expelled from the PC for his anti-party activities, a party tweet said here on Sunday.
It said all Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Conference and Youth Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Conference units of Kreeri constituency also stand dissolved.
“Syed Basharat Bukhari (@AnNaqvi_Bukhari), Constituency Head Kreeri is hereby expelled from the party, for indulging in anti party activities. Also all @JKPC_ and @YJKPC_ units of Kreeri stand dissolved and will be reconstituted after the new Constituency head assumes charge”, a PC tweet said.
Bukhari, a former well known broadcaster, had joined People’s Democratic Party in 2003. After the fall of PDP BJP government in 2018, Bukhari left PDP and joined the National Conference. He later parted ways with NC and joined Sajad Lone People’s Conference.
