Naat competition held at Govt Boys Middle School Sumbal

Sumbal: Government Degree College Sumbal in collaboration with Government Boys Middle School Sumbal on Friday organized an interschool Naat competition at GMS Sumbal, which is an adopted school of the college.
Thirteen students from various schools of Education Zone Sumbal participated in the competition. The program was organized under the directions and supervision of Prof. (Dr.). Shabeena Iqbal Shawl, the principal of the college.
In her address to the participants, the Principal highlighted the aims and objectives behind organizing such programs on a regular basis. She stressed upon the students to be punctual and focused on their studies.
The Principal appreciated the efforts of the school adoption committee for motivating the students for achieving heights in academics as well as in extra-curricular activities.
On her arrival, the Principal was given a rousing welcome by both the students and faculty of GMS Sumbal.
Syed Sajad Hussain, Headmaster of the school, thanked the Principal and school adoption committee of the college for organizing various programs in the school for the holistic development of the students.
The program was attended by a large number of students, teachers of middle school and escort teachers from participating schools.
Prof. Basher Ahmad Khan, Convener School adoption committee and Dr. Aadil Mohi UD Din Sheikh, Co-Convener of the committee were present on the occasion.
Consolation prizes were given to all the participants of the competition to encourage them. Madam Dilafroza, the teacher at GMS Sumbal carried out the proceedings of the event.
