Jammu: Two persons were killed when a vehicle they were travelling in skidded off the road and fell into deep gorge in Doda district on Thursday.
Official sources said that a private vehicle (JK06A-1026) met with the accident near Malhori this late afternoon.
A police officer said that a case has been registered. He identified the deceased as Joginder Paul son of Lt Bodh Raj and Ranjeet Kumar son of Swami Raj, both residents of of Panthan Parnote PremNagar. Meanwhile, twelve people were injured when a minibus turned turtle in the Panjgrayee area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Udhampur district on Thursday, officials said.
The minibus driver lost control of the vehicle, which then skidded off the road and overturned, they said.
The injured, one of whom is said to be in critical condition, have been hospitalised.
