PAMPORE: A grand Iftar party was organised by Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in the premises of Comando Training Centre Lethpora area of Pampore Tehsil in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday evening.
A large number of CRPF jawans, locals, civil society members, youth and police dignitaries attended the function
The Iftar party hosted by CRPF was attended by many local residents including youth, senior citizens and several officials from civil administration officials, officials told Kashmir Reader.
During the event, CRPF officials interacted with locals and also paid Ramadhan greetings to their Muslim CRPF personnel and guests on the occasion and said that the holy month of Ramadan may bring peace and trust among all and organising such programs helps to spread the message of love, affection and mutual trust.
The dignitaries including SSP Awantipora Ajaz Ahmad Zargar, Commandant RTC Suraj Pal Verma, Commandant 185 Bn CRPF Arun Kumar Bharti, Commandant 110 BN CRPF Yogesh Purohit and other officials also graced the auspicious function with their presence.
Besides other police officers and people of nearby villages also participated with full zeal and zest.
During this occasion, the CRPF personnel and officers carried out prayer and prayed for prosperity, peace and progress for all mankind.
The guests and local residents appreciated Training Centre CRPF for organising such an event which brings people from different walks of life together and helps in building a mutual bond of kinship between all sections of society.
