Non local girl injured in Pampore road mishap

PAMPORE: A non-local girl received serious injuries after being hit by a speedy vehicle in the Pampore area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
The 16-year-old girl identified as Rekha Bagria daughter of Nanu Bagria, a resident of Bolwada Rajasthan received seriously injures when a speedy Ignis vehicle bearing registration number JK13H-1640 driven by Aqib Mehraj Bhat son of Mehraj-Ud-Din, resident of Khankahbagh Pampore hit her near Jado mode Galander area of Pampore when she was walking on the footpath adjacent the road, SHO Pampore Zahoor Ahmad told Kashmir Reader.
She received head injuries and was brought to Sub District Hospital Pampore for treatment by police with the assistance of local people but the doctors referred her to SMHS hospital Srinagar for specialized treatment.
Police Pampore has taken cognizance of the matter and started an investigation.
