CUK’s NSS camp holds interactive session, sensitisation prog

Ganderbal: In the ongoing seven-day National Service Scheme (NSS) camp of the Central University of Kashmir (CUK) held under G20 University connect, an interactive session on Learning Skills was held for the students at Hanfia Model Secondary School, Gundirahman.
The session started with recitation of Holy Qur’an by Ms. Sabreen, NSS Volunteer.
Sr Asst Prof. Dr. Mohammad Sayid Bhat interacted with students and provided guidance to acquire different learning skills by using Activity Method/Play Way Methods. Programme Officer NSS Dinesh Kumar K, said the objective of the programme is to educate the school children about the importance of different Learning Skills to tackle the academic endeavours as well as Career prospective.
NSS also organised a sensitisation programme for the General Public at the school on ‘Public Service Guarantee Act’. The session started with recitation of Holy Qur’an by Murthza Amin, NSS Volunteer.
In his address, Finance Officer, and Coordinator-NSS, Dr. Mehraj ud Din Shah said Public Service Guarantee Act is need of the time. He remarked that this type of Acts will ensure the services and products from concerned offices without any delays.
Resource person, Dr. Imran, Asst Prof, Department of Law, elaborated different rights of consumers and general public regarding the availability of services and products from different public offices.
Programme Officer-NSS Dr. Dinesh Kumar K,. Nusrat Jaben, Dr. Muzamil Shah, School principal Mr. Abdul Majid Lone, Vice-Principal Junaid Ahmad Tantray, and staffers were also present.
