Srinagar: A cleric (imam) was killed and three others were injured in a collision between two vehicles in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Friday.
Official sources told GNS two vehicles had the collision near Bonibag area of Kangan, resulting in injuries to four persons travelling in them. All the three injured persons were shifted to nearby hospital from where one of them, Molvi Qaiser Ahmad Wani of Saloor Ganderbal, was shifted to SKIMS Soura for advanced treatment. However, they said, Wani was declared brought dead on arrival. A police official confirmed it and said that a case has been registered and further investigations taken up.
