Army’s Fire and Fury Corps distributes essentials among people

Srinagar: With an aim of assisting and upgrading of community centers, Ladakh Scouts Regimental Centre (LSRC) under the aegis of Fire and Fury Corps handed over certain essential items and stores to include 5 KVA Generator Set, Chairs, Tables, Almirah, Heat Pillars, Sewing Machines, Mike and Speakers to the community members for utilization in the Community Centre of BodhkarbuVillage on March 6 under Op Sadbhavana.

The items were handed over in presence of Commandant, LSRC at Bodhkarbu village to the village headman, PRO (Defence) Srinagar said in a statement.

The assistance by the Indian Army will go a long way to strengthen Military-Civil relations and enhance Army’s bond with community members, he said, adding that the villagers of Bodhkharbu Village thanked Fire and Fury Corps and Ladakh Scouts Regimental Centre for undertaking this project.
