Two range officers of Khrew, Tral given warm send off

PAMPORE: A farewell function was organized by the Department of Wildlife Dachigam to bid a warm send off to two Range Officers, Khurshid Ahmad Mir and Bashir Ahmad Baba at Dachigam National Park and Khrew Pampore Range. The duo served the department for more than 40 years before attaining the superannuation.

Khurshid Ahmad was Ranger officer wildlife Range Khrew and Bashir was Range officer Wildlife Khanagund Tral, officials told Kashmir Reader.

The function was attended by Regional Wildlife Warden Rashid Yahya Naqash, Wildlife Warden Central Division Altaf Hussain, Wildlife Warden Shopian Intesar Suhail, Wildlife Warden Research Sameena Charoo, other officials and Staff members of the wildlife department, wildlife officer told Kashmir Reader.

The officers showered praises up on both the retiring range officers for their exemplary work and described them as wildlife heroes.

A day ago a similar farewell function was organised at Khunmoh area of wildlife Range Khrew by officials of wildlife department to bid warm send off to one of their colleague Khurshid Ahmad who attained superannuation. He was presented with shawl, bouquets and garlands by senior officials Rashid Nakash, Altaf Ahmad, Adv Nadeem Qadri and other officials and employees of the wildlife department, officials said. The officers and officials remembered Khurshid as an honest and dedicated officer who always gave his duty first preference.
