Baramulla: Police in Baramulla have seized illicit timber and arrested three accused persons involved in the commission of crime.

A police party of Police Station Uri under the supervision of SDPO Uri Shri Showkat Ali arrested three persons identified as Mohd Rafiq Poswal son of Umer Din, Ishtiyaq Ahmad Thakria son of Mohd Sageer and Ab Hamid Paswal son of Mohi-u-Din, all residents of Gowhallan and recovered illicit forest timber measuring about 45 CFt from their possession at Gowhallan Uri, police said in a statement.

Accordingly, a case under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Uri and investigation has been initiated.
