MC Pampore employee dies of cardiac arrest

PAMPORE: A young employee of Municipal Committee Pampore died of a sudden heart attack on Friday.

Officials informed Kashmir Reader that a young and dedicated employee of the Municipal Committee Pampore, Abdul Rasheed Sheikh, a resident of Batamaloo Srinagar, suffered a massive cardiac arrest at his house a couple of days ago. He was shifted to SMHS hospital Srinagar where he breathed his last on Friday.

He was brought to SMHS hospital and was under treatment there, the Executive Officer Pampore Mohammad Iqbal told Kashmir Reader.

Iqbal and his colleagues remember the deceased as a dedicated employee of Urban Local Body who always performed his duty with punctuality.

Executive Officer Pampore, Municipal Committee Pampore Chairman Malik Mohammad Yaqoob, Councillors, staff, and sweepers expressed deep shock and grief over the demise of Abdul Rasheed.
