PAMPORE: Government Degree College (GDC) Pampore organised an anti-drug awareness rally here in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday.

A number of students, including NSS volunteers, took part in the rally that started from the Government Degree College Pampore campus and culminated at Tulbagh area, officials said.

A door-to-door awareness programme and rally on the theme ‘Say No to Drugs and Yes to Life’ has been organised by college NSS Unit. The rally culminated near Chungi Tulbagh area of the Saffron Town.

In the drive and rally, many informative pamphlets were distributed among the locality members of Tulbagh Pampore, GDC Pampore officials told Kashmir Reader.

Many NSS volunteers of the college participated in the programme which was coordinated by Prof Alam Ara Shah and Aaliya Bashir while other faculty members provided their full support and cooperation, he said.
