PAMPORE: Acting tough against illegal land encroachers, the Tehsil administration Pampore area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district retrieved 168 kanals of Kahcharai and State land at Khrew area of Pampore Tehsil in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday.
Amid rain, the massive anti-encroachment demolition and eviction drive was conducted in Khrew near JK Cements area of Pampore Tehsil. The drive was conducted on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Pulwama.
During the drive, Tehsil Administration Pampore evicted 164 kanals of Kahcharai land and 4 kanals of State land. The revenue team also demolished some illegal structures raised on Khaschari land near JK cements Khrew, officials told Kashmir Reader.
