Jammu: Ministry of Defence has awarded Kirti Chakra to SgCt Rohit Kumar and Shaurya Chakra to Ct Mudasir Ahmad Posthumously for displaying exemplary courage while fighting militancy.
Director General of Police J&K Shri Dilbag Singh congratulated families of these bravehearts and also expressed his gratitude to MoD for bestowing these honours on J&K Police. He said that recognition of valour and sacrifice will boost the morale of JKP personnel in the fight against different modes of militancy.
