SDPO, SHO Pampore visit family of murdered woman of Kadlabal

PAMPORE: Sub Division Pampore Officer (SDPO) Mir Imtiyaz Ahmad along with SHO Pampore Muneer Ahmad on Wednesday visited the family of a deceased woman who was allegedly strangulated to death by her brother-in-law in the Kadlabal area of Pampore.
During the visit, the police officers expressed condolences to the bereaved family members and offered prayers for the departed soul.
Muzaffar Ahmad Ganaie, the husband of the deceased woman, appreciated and thanked SDPO Pampore for exposing the murderer and arresting him. The police officer assured the family that they will recommend exemplary punishment to the culprit.
The local residents of the area appreciated the SDPO and SHO Pampore for solving the blind murder case and nabbing the culprit, Altaf Ganie within 24 hours. “We are very thankful to SDPO Pampore and SHO who visited us today. They sympathised with us and solved the case in a time-bound manner,” Farooq Ahmad, a relative of the slain woman, told Kashmir Reader. He said that police handled the case in a very professional manner and showed a human face to bereaved family members.
Pampore Police on Tuesday solved a blind murder case of a 40-year-old woman Rozy Jan within 24 hours by arresting the accused Altaf Ganaie who happens to be the deceased’s brother-in-law.
The mother of a 10-year-old daughter was found murdered in her house on the evening of January 08.
