Al Tahir Gilani to assume charge

BUDGAM: The District Administration Budgam on Monday organized a farewell-cum-welcome function for the outgoing SSP Budgam Tahir Saleem on his transfer and SSP Al Tahir Gilani for assuming the charge as new SSP Budgam at Conference Hall, here.
At the outset, the Deputy Commissioner Budgam S F Hamid appreciated outgoing SSP for his cooperation and coordination in maintaining a peaceful law and order situation during his tenure.
The DC praised him for his excellent work in Nasha mukt, crime tackling, covid management and other areas. He said that outgoing SSP led his police team with clarity of heart and shall be remembered for his humbleness, humility and public friendly approach in the district.
The DC, while welcoming the new SSP, hoped that best support and cooperation shall continue under his abled guidance so that both civil and police administration continue to work in coordinated manner in the district.
ADDC, ADC among other officers extended their best wishes to both New and outgoing SSPs for their new assignments. Speaking on the occasion, SSP Al Tahir Gilani assured full support to the administration and said he will try his best to deliver up to the expectations of the general public.
