Change is inevitable in Sonawari: Yasir Reshi

Hajin: Senior leader of People’s Conference and former MLC Yasir Reshi said that people have to reject traditional politics if they want the development of the Sonawari area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
While speaking to party workers, Yasir said, “Change is inevitable in Sonawari constituency for the better future as this area has been ruled by the dynastic parties for the last twenty years.”
“Like Sumbal block, the people of Hajin have to make up their minds about the development of this town as they think enough is enough now. Enough is enough from last twenty years this town has not seen any development from the successive regimes and the time has come to give them a befitting reply for the injustice they did to this town,” he said.
Yasir said that even though these leaders will try to rake up emotional issues but people should not fall for it. “They will try to emotionally blackmail you but don’t come to their hollow slogans as they have been doing it for the last 22 years to cheat you,” he said.
The PC leader urged people to come forward and join hands with him for the development of this town.
Yasir Reshi addresses a series of meetings held at Hajin, Saderkoot Bala organised by the People’s Conference. Among those present on the occasion were Haji Abdul Raheem Wani, Ghulam Mohi ud din Dar, Rouf Ahmad Mir, Ghulam Mohammad Mir, Khursheed Ahmad Parray, Ayaz Ahmad Parray, Peer Rayees, Ex-Chairman MC Sumbal Jahangir Ahmad, Councilor Mohammad Maqbool, Inayat Bhat and Bashir Ahmad Rather.
Meanwhile, many prominent workers from several political parties joined the People’s Conference in Hajin and Saderkoot Bala on the occasion.
