BANDIPORA: In view of Good Governance Week, Animal Husbandry (AH) Bandipora in collaboration with Lead District Bank Bandipora today conducted KCC camp under Nationwide KCC campaign at Meeting Hall of BVO Bandipora.
The camp was chaired by Dr Mohammad Ramzan Chopan, BVO Bandipora and was also attended by Nodal officer, delegates from Lead District Bank Bandipora, concerned Bank Managers and Veterinary Assistant Surgeon along with staff besides KCC beneficiaries.
During the camp, 25 KCC cases were sponsored on the spot through different banks.
Awareness regarding different departmental schemes was also provided to farmers.
The department also conducted interactive sessions with progressive dairy farmers at FAC Sheikhpora, Gurez. During the interactive session, first hand information of different ongoing schemes of the Department (IDDS, IPDP and KCC) was given to the farmers.
Medicines viz. deworming agents, mineral mixtures, liver tonics etc were also distributed among the farmers for their livestock.
