Awantipora: Under its Community Outreach program, the Islamic University of Science and Technology today under the aegis of Dean Students IUST organized an exposure visit of students from the prestigious BurnHall School.
The students, accompanied by senior teachers visited different laboratories, Rumi Library, studio, and sports infrastructure in the university and interacted with the senior faculty. The students were shown a documentary highlighting the academic courses anAd research opportunities available at the university. Dean Students IUST Dr. Asifa Mehraj Baba gave a brief overview of the university and highlighted its different facilities. The students also attended a special lecture by Prof. Manzoor A Malik (Dean Academics IUST) on A Journey through the Universe wherein the new technologies developed in Space Technologies were discussed. He also spoke about the new and innovative programs in science and technology and encouraged them to think beyond conventional courses. The students also interacted with other university officials.
