Awantipora: Centre of Innovations and Entrepreneurship Development, Islamic University of Science and Technology through its Women Entrepreneurship Development Cell of CIED today organized an Industry-exposure visit of aspiring female entrepreneurs from IUST to the Industrial Area, Lassipora, Pulwama. About 40 students from different departments of the university visited multiple units in the industrial estate.
During the visit, the students interacted among others with the technical as well as managerial teams of Alnoor Cold Storage and Zum Zum Milk Products and learned about the managerial principles, shop floor practices etc. as well as business opportunities in this sphere. The students keenly enquired from the experts about risks and rewards in Entrepreneurship, maintenance of surplus quantity, standardization, packaging, marketing etc. Pertinently, students from different departments are regularly provided an opportunity to interact with industry experts with the intent of motivating them to develop an entrepreneurial spirit and change their mindset from job seeker into job giver
