Pattan : GDC, Pattan celebrated Samvidhan Divas on the theme Jan Bhagidhari Bharat and Lok Tantra ki Janani.
In her address, Principal of the college, Prof Safiya Khaleel, congratulated the convenor Debates and seminars Committee Dr. Zahoor Ah. Mir for making the celebration of the day a success.
She was of the view that such programmes enhance the knowledge of the students about the constitution of this great nation.
Dr. Waheed Mansoor faculty Department of Political science of the college deliberated at length about the historical importance of vedas and framing of the Constitution and lecture about Local Institutions in India.
Prof Mohammed Amin Malik, HoD political Science spoke at length about the importance of the Constitution and having the system of law for the equitable development of the nation.
Faculty and the students of the college participated in the function with all the enthusiasm. The programme was coordinated by Dr. Nowsheeba, Librarian of the college.
Dr Irfan acted as the rapporteur. Vote of thanks was provided by Prof. Sajad Sarvar, HoD, Zoology.
