CRPF’s medical camp held at Pampore

PAMPORE: 400 patients were examined in a day-long medical camp organised by the 110 battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) at Pampore area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday.
The camp was held under a civic action programme, and was organised under the supervision of Yogesh Purohit, Commandant, 110 battalion of the CRPF.
A free medical camp was organised by 110 Battalion CRPF, was inaugurated by an Elderly Senior Citizen of village Galander in presence of Yogesh Purohit, Commandant 110 Battalion, Dr Mushtaq from Ayush and other officers of the unit including Second-In- Command ,Anoop Kumar Singh, Deputy Commandant Suresh Kumar Yadav and Sandeep Tripathi AC.
The 110 Battalion CRPF along with the team of AYUSH department Pulwama organised a free medical health checkup at Galander Pampore and provided free medicines under civic action programme for local residents of Galander, Gujjar Basti, Patalbagh, Chandhara, Kandizal and non-local who are stayed in temporary tents in Galander, officials told Kashmir Reader.
During the day-long camp people including Women, Children and senior citizens of the area gathered in large numbers for the health camp and more than 400 people took advantage of the camp. Female doctors were also made available in the camp so that women do not have to face any problem.
“CRPF runs various schemes for assisting the needy and to reach the local population with a motive to have a good rapport and better coordination with them, ‘’ he said.
Today we have organised free medical camp and consultancy for those who require medical assistance and consultancy and you see a large number of people turned up in the programme, ” Yogesh Purohit, Commandant 110 CRPF battalion told Kashmir Reader.
