PAMPORE: A national Lok-Adalat was held under the Chairmanship of Tehsil Legal Services Committee Pampore Junaid Imtiyaz Mir Judicial Magistrate Pampore on Saturday at Munsif Court Complex Pampore in which 21 cases including civil and criminal were disposed off and an amount of 87,100 has been recovered from the violators as fine, officials told Kashmir Reader.
He said that under the Supervision of District Legal Services Authority Pulwama, a National Lok-Adalat was held in the Munsif Court Pampore where under a bench presided over by Chairman Tehsil Legal Services Committee (TLSC) Pampore Junaid Imtiaz Mir Pampore Junaid Imtiyaz Mir and Bench member Bar Association President Advocate Ajaz Ahmad Khan, where various cases of different nature were considered and after due consideration a total of 21 cases were disposed off and fine amounting to rupees 87,100 was realised fine /settlement amount out of which Rs 12,100 as fine in various criminal cases and Rs 75,000 as settlement amount in cheque bounce cases, besides civil matters were also adjudicated upon and resolved through the intervention of the bench.
A number of senior and junior advocates of Bar Association Pampore, prominent citizens and other officials were also present on the occasion.
