POUNCH: Upon the directions of National Council for Educational Research and Training and ministry of Education New Delhi KALA UTSAV 2022 is being organized all over the country as a tool for talent hunt and to promote the talent of the students.
In this connection zonal level inter School competition in different categories of KALA was organized in Govt Model Girls Hr Sec School Mendhar in which 46 students of the different schools of the zone participated.
SDM Mendhar Jahangir Khan JKAS was the chief guest on the occasion whereas Zulfiqar Naqvi principal of the host school presided over the function.
The participating students expressed their talent in the event in singing, dancing, painting and visual arts.
Boys HSS Mendhar and Girls HSS Mendhar bagged fist position in singing whereas the students of HSS Salwah bagged fist position 3D art. In painting Girls HSS Mendhar bagged first position.
Prof Mohd Akram of GDC Mendhar, Abdul Aziz CDPO Mendhar, Mohammad Siddeeque Sameem retired principal and Rashid Mughal retired senior lecturer were the members of the jury in the event.
SMD Mendhar praised the students for their excellent performance in different categories of KALA UTSAV and urged them to take interest in their curriculum also with the same enthusiasm.
Principal HSS Boys Mendhar, Headmaster HS Dharana and the escort teachers of participating schools were also present on the occasion.
Zulfiqar Naqvi, principal of the host school, presented vote of thanks.
The programme was conducted by Mohammad Riaz Khan and Perwaz Ahmed Khan.
