DGP congratulates awardees

Jammu: Four officers/ officials of J&K Police are among 63 officers/officials who have been awarded the Union Home Minister’s Special Operation Medal for the year 2022.
The medals from J&K Police were conferred upon DIG Vivek Gupta, SSP Chandan Kohli, DySP Sachit Sharma and SgCt Vicky Kumar for showing their valour during an operation.
DGP Dilbag Singh has congratulated all the awardees for their achievement and hoped that this will boost their morale and will also serve as a beacon light for the others to follow. He has thanked Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Lt.Governor J&K and the government for recognising the professionalism and dedication of JKP officers and Jawans time and again.
