ANANTNAG: Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Anantnag, SKUAST-Kashmir today organised a seed distribution ceremony under ‘Back to Village’ programme at NICRA village Shangrin-Dooru.
The programme was aimed at involving farmers, public representatives and officers/experts in a joint effort to deliver the mission of equitable development through community participation.
During the ceremony, more than 03 quintals of improved seed of Field Pea and 2.5 quintals of Oats seed were distributed along with crop POP among 140 Farmers for laying FLD/CFLD trials at their fields.
The Scientists of Kendra delivered lectures on different aspects of crop production and stressed on adoption of recommended packages of practices for improved productivity.
