More than 1000 land passbooks being issued in Anantnag everyday

ANANTNAG: As the part of ongoing Jan Abhiyan, camps are being established by Revenue department in various tehsils of Anantnag in order to distribute Land Pass books among the beneficiaries.
The land pass books are being generated as a consequence to the extensive digitization of revenue records taken up in the preceeding month.
In the current week, 2341 such land pass books have already been distributed among beneficiaries across 12 Tehsils. As per senior revenue officials, 31 camps have been held across various villages in the Tehsils of Anantnag.
As part of the camps, several mutations were completed and live demonstrations given to beneficiaries on how to access the Apki Zameen Apki Nigraani portal. More than 1200 people have been given live demonstrations to encourage the public to access revenue records online without having to physically visit govt offices for the same.
The generation and distribution of land passbooks will continue during the Jan Abhiyan along with organization of mutation camps in order to provide door step delivery of services.
