PAMPORE: A Zonal-level National Science Drama Contest was organised by the Zonal Education Officer Pampore at government girls higher secondary school Pampore in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Principal Government girls higher secondary school Pampore Nazir Ahmad was the guest of honour.
About 9 government schools took part in the contest based on the theme ” Sustainable development ” in which government high School Zantrag bagged the first, boys middle school Shar Shali bagged second and government middle school Drangbal Pampore bagged the third position.
The winners were awarded trophies by the Principal Nazir Ahmad Khan, ZEO Pampore Abdul Rashid and the coordinator Bilal Wahab Lone in presence of a gathering of teachers and students, ZEO officials told Kashmir Reader.
The programme was anchored by Kuchay Mohammad Yousuf.
He gave a brief introduction of the rules and regulations and the importance of the topic.
The Principal and ZEO Pampore in their brief speeches thrust on the students to take part in make their lives easier and live sensibly.
They stressed on the students to use school platform as a groud for higher flights for their carrier. Vote of thanks was presented by Kuchay Mohammad Yousuf.
All the jury members were thanked for justified results.
