25 KVIB sponsored JKREGP cases cleared in Doda

DODA: Jammu and Kashmir Khadi and Village Industry Board Doda today conducted the interview of 27 candidates who had applied for loan assistance under the Jammu and Kashmir Rural Employment Generation Programme.
District Development Commissioner, Vishesh Paul Mahajan, who is also the chairman of the District Task Force Committee for JKREGP, conducted the interview along with other members of the Committee comprising Dy Director Employment, CPO, Lead Bank Manager, Zonal Head J&K Bank, District Officer KVIB, Director RSETI Doda and representatives of DIC and ITI Doda.
Among 52 candidates, 27 appeared for interview out of which 25 were cleared for financial assistance under the scheme and 02 cases were rejected.
The DDC said that the JKREGP is a flagship programme of the J & K Government aiming to generate sustainable employment for aspiring entrepreneurs.
Besides, the DDC directed the KVIB officials to ensure submission of Project reports of the candidates at the time of interview for proper rectification.
The Industries department was asked to share the general template project reports of major activities with the KVIB officials so that the same shall be shared with the aspiring entrepreneurs. The DDC further directed the stakeholders to give wide publicity to all self employment schemes to benefit the maximum number of eligible persons.
