Bandipora: As part of national initiative Indian Swachta League Muncipal Committee Hajin on Saturday organised mega rally at Hajin.
The programme was attended by Muncipal Committee Hajin Chairman Irshad Ahmad Wani, Deputy Chairman Waseem Parray Executive officer Hajin Firdous Ahmad , SHO Hajin , President Traders Federation Mushtaq Ahmad , civil society members, Students, volunteers.
The rally was formally flagged off by MC Chairman Hajin Irshad Ahmad Wani.
The rally started from Tundpora Hajin and culminated at Main Bridge Hajin .
Irhsad Wani said that the main aim of the league is to involve residents, especially the youth, to build a ‘garbage-free town .
He urged the volunteers,traders , students to take part in this event and contribute your part in keep the town neat and clean.
It’s pertinent to mention that first ever Indian Swachhta league— announced by the union ministry of housing and urban affairs— towards building garbage-free cities/towns.
